EPA has rated 54 Ford nameplates in model years 1984–2026; 20 of them have a page of their own here. Its highest rating is 42 MPG, by the Fusion (gasoline-only rating of a plug-in hybrid) in 2017–2020. The Mustang has the longest record, 43 model years, and the E250 Econoline the weakest yearly peak, 13 MPG. Of these nameplates, six have had an electric version, the fourth most of any make on this site. For 2026 EPA rated nine of its nameplates with fuel-burning versions; the Escape leads them at 40 MPG.
